“World Poker Tour Amateur Championship (WPTAC)” promotion Official Rules and Regulations

(“Promotion”) Begins on January 1st, 2011 and continues thereafter until promotion is altered or cancelled at the sole discretion of WPTAPL.

ELIGIBILITY:
Promotion open to all WPTAPL members, members of Affiliate leagues and members of ClubWPT who are 21 years of age or older, except where prohibited. This Promotion is subject to all applicable federal, state, and local laws and regulations.  Void where prohibited. Participants must be a Trop Plus Players Club member (sign up for Trop Plus Players Club can be completed at the event) and must be booked through the WPTAPL Room Block at the Tropicana Las Vegas (players must have a Tropicana Room Confirmation Number).

Participants understand and agree that any WPTAC policy regarding said promotion will supersede any other declaration whether verbal or written, by any other organization or agency.

HOW TO PARTICPATE:
All WPTAPL, Affiliate League and ClubWPT members may qualify for this event by participating in qualifying tournament held on their respective platform.

BENEFIT CLAIMS:
The World Poker Tour Amateur Championship (formerly known as the WPTAPL Nationals) is an annual event held in the spring/summer each year. This event is held over multiple days and typically hosts a variety of ancillary tournaments leading up to the main event through which participants win cash and qualify to participate in the WPTAC.

The WPTAPL has partnered with many leagues around the country and the world to qualify their best players to participate in this event. The goal….to find the best amateur players in the world and hand them their shot at the big time. The WPTAC will award multiple WPT events seats, cruise vacation packages, WPT Boot Camp entries, Flatscreen HDTV’s and other electronics!

GENERAL RULES OF PARTICIPATION:
No prize substitution or cash redemption, except at WPTAPL's sole discretion or as otherwise provided herein. WPTAPL reserves the right to substitute a prize of equal or greater value if advertised prize becomes unavailable. Prizes are not transferable and cannot be redeemed for cash. Any taxes, or travel incurred are the responsibility of the winner.

By participating, entrants agree to be bound by these Official Rules and the determinations of World Poker Tour Amateur Poker League, which shall be final. Unless prohibited by law, entrants agree to allow use of their name, voice, city/state of residence, photograph, and/or likeness for advertising and/or trade and/or any other purpose in any media or format now or hereafter known without further compensation, permission or notification.

By participating, entrants release and hold harmless WPT Enterprises, Inc., its parent, subsidiaries, and affiliated companies, World Poker Tour Amateur Poker League and its officers, directors, employees, licensees, representatives and agents from any and all liability, loss, injury or death to entrant or any other person, including, without limitation, damage to personal or real property, due in whole or in part, directly or indirectly, by reason of the acceptance, possession, use or misuse of a prize or participation in this Promotion.

In accepting participants acknowledges that World Poker Tour Amateur Poker League may not be held liable for any loss, damages or injury associated with accepting or using this benefit.

Participants assume all risk of loss, damage, destruction, delay or misdirection of materials/mail/e-mail submitted to WPTAPL. WPTAPL and its affiliated companies and agencies are not responsible for printing, distribution or production errors and may rescind, cancel or revoke this promotion based upon any such error without liability and at their sole discretion. All federal, state and local laws apply.
